<br />... <br />\ ," <br /> <br />,'. <br /> <br />I::. <br /> <br />:'. <br /> <br />&: <br />.. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />661 I <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE VACATING" ABANDONING AND CLOSING A PORTION <br />OF THE ALLEYWAYS LYING WITHIN BLOCK 47 IN THE TOWN OF <br />LA PORTE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of La Porte has <br /> <br />determined and does hereby find, determine and declare that a certain <br /> <br />portion of the Alleyways lying in Block 47 of The Town of La Porte is <br /> <br />not suitable, needed, or beneficial to the public as a public Alleyway, <br /> <br />and should be vacated, abandoned and permanently closed; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COM- <br />MISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, THAT: <br /> <br />The certain portion of the Alleyways located in Block 47 of <br /> <br />the Town of La Porte described as follows to wit: <br /> <br />BEGINNING at the intersection of the West <br />Right-of- Way line of South 10th Street with <br />the North Right-of- Way line of West A Street; <br /> <br />THENCE, West a distance of 125 feet to <br />a point for corner and the PLACE OF BE- <br />GINNING of the tract herein described; <br /> <br />THENCE, North a distance of 259 feet to <br />a point for corner; <br /> <br />THENCE, West a distance of 16 feet to a <br />point for corner; <br /> <br />THENCE, South a distance of 259 feet to <br />a point for corner; <br /> <br />THENCE, East a distance of 16 feet to the <br />PLACE OF BEGINNING. <br /> <br />is hereby permanently vacated, abandoned and closed by the City of <br /> <br />La Porte. <br /> <br />This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and <br /> <br />after its passage and approval. <br /> <br />zt; <br />/tIl day of DECEMBER, <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED this the <br /> <br />1962. <br />ATTEST: " <br />~~ <br /> <br />City Cler,l< c;>f the City of La Porte <br />~ . ... . . . . <br /> <br /> <br />I <br />
