<br />AN ORDINANCE DISANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY HERETOFORE
<br />ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF LA PORTE; CONTAINING A SAVINGS
<br />CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.

<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE,
<br />TEXAS, THAT:

<br />Secti:o'n' 1. The hereinaf.ter, described ter.ri tory, which

<br />is now entirely located within ..the corpor'ate 'limits of the
<br />
<br />City of La Porte" Texas,' ,by prior annexation ordinances of
<br />
<br />the City of La Porte, is hereby disannexed from the corporate
<br />limits of the City of La Porte, ,and, after the effective date
<br />

<br />of this Ordinance" ,shall not constitute a part of the corporate
<br />
<br />territory of the City of La Porte, to-wit:

<br />BEGINNING ,at a point on the present City Limits Line of the
<br />City of La Porte, ,said point being the Northeast corner of a
<br />29 acre tract out of the Arthur McCormick Survey, A-46, ,con-
<br />veyed ~y R. E. Smith to the Carwin Company by deed dated
<br />Februa,ry 3, ,1960, ,recorded in Volume 3930, ,at ;Page, .5 of the
<br />Deed Records of Harris County, Texas, ,same 'point being in
<br />the West line of a 14.156 acre tract conveyed by J. Waldene
<br />Hine to Houston Lighting & Power Company by deed as recorded
<br />in Vqlume 2643, at page 145 of, the Deed Records of Harris
<br />County,Texa~; ,

<br />Carwin Company 29 acre tract a distance of 507.47 ,feet to
