<br />AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING A PORTION OF
<br />THE ALLEY LYING WITHIN BLOCK THIRTY~FOUR (34), BEACH PARK
<br />SUBDIVISION, 'HARRIS COUNTY" TEXAS. '
<br />
<br />WHERAS, the hereinafter described portion of said
<br />alley in Block '1'hirty-Four (34), Beach Park Subdivision, Harris
<br />
<br />County, Texas, has never been opened or used as a public thoro~gh-
<br />fare, and the public utilities now maki~g use of such alley have
<br />all given their written consent for its closing; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of La Porte
<br />
<br />has determined and does hereby find, determine and declare that
<br />
<br />the ,hereinafter described portion of the said alley is not
<br />
<br />suitable, needed, or beneficial to the public as a public
<br />
<br />alley, and should be vacated, abandoned and permanently closed;
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE,. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
<br />OF THE CITY: ,OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, THAT:
<br />
<br />Se:c.tion 1. That that portion of the alley located in
<br />
<br />Block Thirty-Four (34), Beach Park Subdivision, Harris County,
<br />
<br />Texas, described as follows, ,to-wit:
<br />
<br />BEGINNING at the most Northerly Northwest corner
<br />of Lot 26, Block 34, ~each Park Subdivision, ~a Porte,
<br />Harris County, Texas, .as recorded in Volume 67,
<br />at Page 148 of the Deed Records of Harris County,
<br />Texas, said point being the most Southerly Southwest
<br />corner of Lot 27 of said Beach Park Subdivision,
<br />and being a point on a curve having a radius of 100
<br />feet and central angle of 1800, ,and a point on the
<br />East side of a 16 foot wide alley through Block 34,
<br />and also being a point on a portion of' said alley
<br />previously closed by the City of La Porte, ~exas,
<br />by Ordinance No. 774 on September 25, 1967;
<br />
<br />THENCE in a Southerly direction followi~g the East
<br />line of said l61 alley and the West line of Lots 26,
<br />:25, 24, 23, and 22 of said Block 34, on a curve to
<br />the left having a radius of 100', a central angle
<br />of 8700:31'07",',and curve distance of 151.94 feet
<br />to a point for corner, ,said point being in the West
<br />line Of Lot 22, Block 34, pf said Beach Park Sub-
<br />division;

<br />THENCE So.600l6'12" W, ,along a radial line, a distance
