Summary and Recommendation
In February 2002, La Porte voters approved $1.7 million to construct a new Fire Station #2 and

the firm Dansby & Miller and determined they are well suited to provide architectural services
for the design of this building. Attached is an Agreement for Professional Services that provides
a fee of $87,000 for design, bidding, and construction administration services for a $1.2 million
facility. Staff is recommending an additional $3,000 be allocated for incidental reimbursible
expenses that the Architect may incur.
