The following positions still need to be filled/replaced: Alternate 2 - Planning and Zoning Commission Chairman, Position 1, Position 2, Position 3, Position 4, Position 5 and Position 6 - Building Code Appeals Board ..r- Position - 1 - Fire Code Review Committee Position - 5 - Fire Code Review Committee Position 6 - Fire Code Review Committee Main Street Advisory Board Building Codes Appeals Board The Main Street Committee, which was appointed by the City Council, has dealt with the majority of issues pertaining to the moratorium and has made those recommendations to Planning and Zoning, was well as to City Council. The final item that needs to be addressed is the architectural preservation measures; therefore, the ad hoc committee needs to stay in place until their task has been completed. If any section, sentence, phrase, clause or any part of any section, sentence, phrase, or clause, of this ordinance shall, for any reasons, be held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the remaining portions of this ordinance, and it is hereby declared to be the intention of this City Council to have passed each section, sentence, phrase or clause, or part thereof, irrespective of the fact that any other section, sentence, phrase or clause, or part thereof, may be declared invalid. Section 18. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are repealed to the extent of such conflict only. Section 19. The City Council officially finds, determines, recites, and declares that a sufficient written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of this meeting of the city Council was posted at a place convenient to the public at the City Hall of the City for the time required by law preceding this meeting, as required by the Open Meetings Law, Chapter 551, Texas Government ::=ode; and that this meeting has been open to the public as required by law at all times during which this ordinance and the subject matter thereof has been discussed, considered and formally 9 acted upon. The City Council further ratifies, approves and confirms such written notice and the contents and posting thereof. Section 20.
