Mayor & City Council city of La Porte city Hall La Porte, Texas Re: Ordinance Ratifying and Confirming the Selection of Clark T. Askins as Assistant City Attorney and Prosecutor in Municipal Court. Gentlemen: It has come to my attention that, although there are ordinances in place appointing Knox W. Askins as City Attorney, and John D. Askins did take his oath of office as a Assistant City Attorney, and his actions thereunder are valid. YffCda Knox W.
