WHEREAS,'The La Porte (I ' ity Council finds it in (lie best interest ofthe citizens ofCity of` La Polle, that the
good NeighborhoStorefront and Community Outreach Program be operated for the Fiscal Year 2018-2019 and
SUbsequent years; and
W11EREAS, the La Porte ( , 'ity Council agrees to provide applicabic inatching Funds if appropriate for the
said pro.ject as reqUired by the Justice Assistance grant application from the Office of the Gov mor; and
WHEREAS, City ofLa Porte agrees that in the event of loss, or to ot,the Office ofthe Governor funds,

WHEREAS, the City of f.. Porte designates Corby Alexander, City Manager of the City ot" La Porte, as the
grantee's authorized official, The authorized official is given the power to apply For, accept, reject, alter or
terminate the grant oil behall"ofthe applicant agency.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that 1A Porte City Conned approves submission of the grant
application for the Neighborhood Storctrontand Community Outreach Program to the 01-fice of the Governor.
