SUMMARY & RECOMMENDATION
On August 24, 2010, the City opened proposals for Banking Services.
The proposal submitted by the banks were analyzed based on six areas: (1) the compliance with the
qualifications; (2) the ability to provide services; (3) the response to required items per the quotation
form; (4) the cost of services; (5) the financial strength and (6) the convenience oflocation.
The analysis of the RFP's was presented to and approved by the Fiscal Affairs on October 25,2010.
Based on our opinion ,one respondent has the ability and commitment to offer a superior level of
customer service to the City and a lower cost of services provided. We believe that the proposal
submitted by Amegy Bank provides the best overall benefit to the City of La Porte.
