A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS,
ENCOURAGING THE "WEAR ORANGE DAY" PROGRAM EVERY
FRIDAY TO SHOW SUPPORT FOR LA PORTE BULLDOG SPORTS
OR EVENTS
WHEREAS, The City of La Porte along with the La Porte-Bayshore Chamber of
Commerce, and the La Porte Bulldog Booster Club, would like to encourage the
program "Wear Orange Day" every Friday to promote and show Bulldog pride for
sports and also for any event during the year.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LA PORTE THAT, every Friday will be called "WEAR ORANGE DAY"
to demonstrate Bulldog support and spirit for all events during the year.
PASSED AND APPROVED, by the CITY COUNCIL, on this, the 13th day of
September 2004.
