This customer already lives on the subject property in an existing dwelling. We are needing just to break out a portion of the property for a new home to be constructed and one thing we have done many times in other municipalities and counties was to apply a'/2 after the address for permitting process. We are just trying to survey out a portion that a lien could be placed on by a lender if necessary and write it up by a metes and bounds description. Is this not possible? Why would we have to replat the property so long as appraisal district picks up the improvement by the building permit. Can you please look at this again and confirm that we have to replat. With a new survey, we think that this should be all that is necessary based on our experience in other municipalities and counties. If 911 has been ok with this practice in the past, I think it should be DO I look forward to your response and really appreciate you taking the time to look into this.
