A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA TORTE, TEXAS,
NOMINATING A CANDIDATE FOR A POSITION ON THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE HARRIS COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, those cities and towns, other than the City of Houston within the Harris County
Appraisal District have the right and responsibility to elect one person to the board of directors
of the Harris County Appraisal District 11or a term of office corn mencing on January 1, 2022, and
extending through December 31, 2023; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Porte, Texas, desires to exercise its right to nominate
a candidate for such position on said board of directors; now, therefore

Section I.The facts and recitations set Barth in the preamble ofthis reSOILItion be, and they are hereby,
adopted,, ratified, and confirmed.
Section 2. That Mike Sullivan, 4811 Shore Hills Drive, Kingwood, 1'exas, 77345, 713-898-
6969, be, and is hereby, nominated as a candidate for that position oil the board of directors of the
Hari -is County Appraisal District to be filled by those cities and towns other than the City of Houston
within the Harris County Appraisal District for a two-year term of office commencing on January 1,
2022.
Section,3. That the Mayor ofthe City Council of the City cafe La Porte be, and is hereby, authorized
and directed to deliver or cause to be delivered a certified copy ol'this resolution to the chief appraiser
o fthe I larris County Appraisal District no later than October 15, 2021.
