That makes sense. Naviline is on crutches without a update procedure in
place.
I have no idea what is going on with those permits in Naviline. That is
my best guess. Let me know if I can help further.
There is a way to export all the permit records(permit reports), which
I did in March, and then mapped them by address. This was a
presentation to Richard and your team to show how adding permits to the
map is possible?
If you are looking to get a report on an address for all permits, this
might be a way to identify it? I have attached it, and I don’t see a
permit for any ‘1806’ on any street at that time (march 2021).

I would only be able to do it if I know what the permit number is. For
example, I can update the two permit numbers (21-2159 & 21-2204), but
those are just for two new permits that have been applied for. I would
not be able to go back and update all of the previous permits issued
(all of the ones for the construction of the building) because we don’t
have a separate list of permit numbers. We use the address search
feature on NaviLine to keep a permit log.
If these are just “lost” because the address was deleted, I can let CSO
know and see what needs to be done for records and how to respond to the
PIRs.

My guess is that the address that the permits was created with doesn’t
exist anymore as in there were duplicate Naviline entries for 1806 S
Sixteenth St, although each maintains a unique location id. If
duplicates were deleted, yet that location id connected to permits, then
that might explain whats going on.
I would suggest updating the address on the permit to connect the
permit to the existing address. Is this possible?

It’s allowing me to search for the address in location maintenance, so
I know the address is there. I know two permit numbers under this
address (21-2159 & 21-2204). When I search both of those in application
maintenance the address comes up as “error”. When I try to search for
all permits under that address nothing comes up. I tried to search for
1806 Powell Lane and nothing came up, nor did anything for the HCAD
number. The permits were put in as 1806 S 16th Street, when you open up
the permit you can see:
The address is not coming up in the main search field on NaviLine and
isn’t showing up as an address for permits.

Not sure what the issue it. I’m not seeing a search problem in
Naviline for that address.
I can search for 1806 S SIXTEENTH ST in Naviline as shown below. BUT I
don’t see any permits on it.
I can tell you that Powell Ln and S 16th St are aliases. The road name
was changed at some point so there is mixed addressing. Naviline has the
listing above, and GIS address points for that location has Powell Ln.
Perhaps the permits were put in as Powell?
Can you search for permits by the parcel number?

to search for the address 1806 S 16th Street, and I noticed that there
is no GIS address point for it either. I put in an address request.
