WHEREAS, the City of La Porte foreclosed on a property ("the property") through a delinquent
tax lawsuit and judgment identified as follows:
LOTS 29, 30, 31 & 32 IN BLOCK 1156 OF THE TOWN OF LA PORTE, IN HARRIS
COUNTY, TEXAS, PER MAP THEREOFRECODED IN VOL. 60 PAGES 112-115
OF THE DEED RECORDS OF HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS.
(ACCOUNT # 024-209-056-0028)
WHEREAS, the City of La Porte remains unpaid after exhausting all legal means to satisfy the
collection of the delinquent taxes due and owing to the City of La Porte, including conducting a
public auction of the property by the Harris County Sheriff whereby the property was struck off to
the City of La Porte and;
WHEREAS, being no bids for the property at the tax sale on June 2, 2015, the City of La Porte
now holds the property in trust to secure the payment of taxes, penalties, interest and costs owed
to the City of LaPorte;
WHEREAS, the property held in trust by the City of La Porte is exempt from taxation and it is in
the best interest of the City of La Porte to have the property returned to the active tax roll as a
taxable property;
WHEREAS, the City of La Porte has received an offer of $8,700.00 to purchase the property from
BP Coastal Builders & Developers, LLC.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED by the City of LaPorte:
That all of the above paragraphs are true, correct and in the best interest of the City of La
Porte and as such they are hereby incorporated in full and made a part of this Resolution;
2. That the City of La Porte accepts the tax resale offer by BP Coastal Builders & Developers,
LLC and authorizes the City Manager of the City of La Porte to sign and execute the deed
on behalf of the City of La Porte to transfer title to the person submitting the offer to
purchase the property.

HARRIS COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, HARRIS COUNTY FLOOD
CONTROL DISTRICT, PORT OF HOUSTON AUTHORITY OF HARRIS COUNTY,
HARRIS COUNTY HOSPITAL DISTRICT and SAN JACINTO COMMUNITY COLLEGE
DISTRICT, acting by and through its duly authorized official ("GRANTOR") as authorized by
Section 34.05, Texas Property Tax Code, for and in consideration of the sum of TEN DOLLARS
AND 00/100 ($10.00) AND OTHER GOOD AND VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, in'hand

conveyed, acquired by tax foreclosure sale heretofore held, -in. Cause No. 2014-09521, CITY OF
LA PORTE vs. MICIMEL M. DEBAKEY, ET AL., said property' being described as:'
LOTS 29, 30, 31 & 32 IN BLOCK 1156 OF THE TOWN OF LA PORTS, IN HARRIS COUNTY,
TEXAS, PER MAP THEREOF RECORDED IN VOL. 60 PAGES 112-115 OF THE DEED RECORDS
OF HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS.

This conveyance is made and accepted subject to the following matters to the extent that
the same are in effect at this time: any and all rights of redemption, restrictions; covenants,
conditions, easements, encumbrances and outstanding mineral interests, if any, relating to the
hereinabove described property, but only to the extent they are still in effect, shown ofrecord in
the hereinabove mentioned County and State, and to all zoning laws, regulations and ordinances
of municipal and/or other governmental authorities, if any but only to the extent that they are still
in effect, relating to the hereinabove described property.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD said premises, together with all and singular the rights,
privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto the said BP COASTAL
BUILDERS & DEVELOPERS, LLC, his heirs and assigns forever, so that neither the CITY OF
LA PORTE, FOR THE USE AND BENEFIT OF ITSELF AND ALL OTHER TAXING UNITS
THAT ESTABLISHED TAX LIENS IN CAUSE NO.20I4-09521 and any person claiming
under it shall at any time hereafter have, claim or demand any right or title to the aforesaid
premises or appurtenances, or any part thereof.
Grantee accept the property in "AS IS" condition, subject to any environmental
conditions that might have or still exist on said property and subject to the rights of any parties in

Post judgment taxes and taxes for the current year are assumed by Grantee.
IN TESTIMONY, WHEREOF, CITY OF LA PORTE, FOR THE USE AND BENEFIT
OF ITSELF AND ALL OTHER TAXING UNITS THAT ESTABLISHED TAX LIENS IN
