The following estimate is for making repairs to one section of damaged concrete pavement totaling an estimated 567 square feet the at La Quints Hotel located at 1105 Hwy 146 South in La Port , Tcxas. This area is located in the parking lot around a man hole at this location. The area being repaired includes replacing 21 linear feet oris inch concrete curb. This estimate also includes furnisbing permits for this project as rcqulmd by the City of La Port, Tosses. Listed below is a methodology that will be used to make the repairs at this location along with a description and price for each of the repairs. Methodology: 1. Saw cut the perimcta edges of the repair a minimum of 3 inches deep. 2. Breakout and excavate the failed concrete from the area. 3. Examine the eaposrd subgrade in die area end repair u needed Examine the man hole structure exposed in the repair. Make sure there are no holes in the structure allowing the su"ide to wash out. If the structure needs minor repairs the repairs will be made with brick and mortar. 4. Install a sand cushion in she repair to level up and eompacL /y S. Install 8 4 rebar d9pjyy{cls Into the perimeter edgav of the repair on 311tinch centers. 6. lnstall N 4 rebar otftjtinoh centers set on plastic chairs and tied to the dowels. 7. Pour back 6 inobes of 4000 psi concrete and apply a broom finish. S. Curb dowels will be installed into the pavement edge where the curb is being replaced. The dowels will be installed while the concrete pavement is being placed 9. Pour back new 6 inch high x 6 inch wide concrete curb and apply a broom finish.
