Thank you for all of the assistance that you and your staff have given us up to this point. As I
mentioned to you yesterday afternoon, Milton Hill at CenterPoint Energy has informed us that it
could take up to eight weeks before they can provide power to our location.
This development does put us in quite a bind. Our lease on our current location expires on
March 31, 2009. I am requesting that the City of La Porte grant us a temporary Certificate of
Occupancy until CenterPoint can provide us with power.
I hope that Associated Carriers has demonstrated to this point that we are trying to comply with
all of the City of La Porte's rules and regulations. You asked me yesterday if noise from a gen-
erator would disturb any of our neighbors. I have provided an Arial photograph of neighbor-
hood and made some notations on it for your convenience. My opinion is that it will not disturb
our neighbors at all.

19. Commercial projects with detention pond requirements must be inspected and approved
by city Engineer and Inspection personnel prior to final inspection request. Contact

20. Contractor/owner shall be responsible for ensuring all construction materials/debris
remains on the construction site. Failure to do so shall result in stoppage of inspections
and/or code enforcement action.
21. Owner/developer of commercial driveways in concrete shall be constructed 12" from the
adjacent asphalt street. The contractor shall clean the area between the driveway and
the street to a depth of at least 6". It is the responsibility of the r1/�
