Weems, Et. AI., which has been recorded <br />under Harris County Clerk's file No. K598295, and the City's OWner Title Policy <br />in the amount of the purchase price, $5,750.00, subject only to the matters shown <br />thereon. <br /> <br />The original Deed and Title Policy ,should be put in the City's permanent Real <br />Estate Records. <br /> <br />The following additional steps should be taken by the City: <br /> <br />1) The City was credited with tax proration to the date of the Deed, <br />June 11, 1986, at closing. The City should obtain 1986 tax bills, <br />when available, from each of the taxing agencies, on a prorated <br />basis from January 1, 1986 through June 11, 1986, and pay the same. <br /> <br />2) The City should notify the Harris County Appraisal District of this <br />Purchase, and ask that the property be rendered in the name of the <br />City of LaPorte, and placed on the exempt rolls. <br /> <br />It was a pleasure to have been of service to you in this matter. <br /> <br />Yours very truly, <br />,/' <br />~(tlt <br /> <br /> <br />Knox W.
