PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE BRRNOF.
WHEREAS, the Temporary Board of Directors of the La Porte Fire
Control, Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services District (the
.District.) has formulated a two-year fire control, prevention, and
emergency medical services plan and a two-year budget plan for the
District containing all of the elements enumerated in section
344.061 of the Texas Local Government Code; and
WHEREAS, on the ath day of February, 2011, the Temporary Board
of Directors of the District held a public hearing on the fire
control, prevention, and emergency medical services plan and the
budget plan after the requisite notice of the public hearing was
published in a newspaper with general circulation in the District;
and
WHEREAS, at the public hearing, all residents of the District
were entitled to be present and to participate in the same; and
WHEREAS, after considering the public input and studying the
fire control, prevention, and emergency medical services plan and
the budget plan, the Temporary Board of Directors of the District
desires to adopt both plane;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TEMPORARY BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE LA PORTE FIRE CONTROL, PREVENTION, AND 914ERGENCY
MEDICAL SERVICES DISTRICT:
Section 1. The Temporary Board of Directors of the La Porte
Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services District
hereby adopts the two-year fire control, prevention, and emergency
medical services plan and two-year budget plan for the La Pore Fire
Control, Prevention and Emergency Medical services District, which
are attached hereto as Exhibit •A" and incorporated herein for all
intents and purposes.
section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately from
and after its passage by the Temporary Board of Directors of the La
Porte Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services
District.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the
Temporary Board of the La Porte Fire Control, Prevention, and
Emergency Medical services District this Sth day of February,
