Agee, P.L. Benson, F.R. Boyle, Fred R. Ruff. <br />Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. <br />Specifi- Motion by Boyle, second by Ruff, that bids for the ~38aning afid~;~iainting of the <br />cations&Bids Water Tower and Tank, inside and outside, be taken according to the speai- <br />Water Tower fications dram up by the City Attorney. Carried _ <br />Motion by Ageo, see~nd by Benson, that the €3:tyearivc33rtise~fofr.'thbeabove men- <br />Advertise tinned bids in the Daily Stan. Carried <br /> <br />Bids Motion by Boyle, second by Agee, that the City advertise in the Daily Sun <br />garage for bids on the garage which is to be built. <br />Carried <br />Alderman Ruff submitted a proposal from M.C. St John to make a survey for <br />the extension and improvements to the Water System outside the City Limits. <br />~i~~ey'r Motion by Ruff, second by Boyle, that the Mayor call a Special meeting <br />Extension some ni ht within the next two weeks to dis ose of the matter of the ex- <br />~~..~ WaterSystem g p <br />~~''` tension and improvement of the Water System outside the City Limits. <br />'~ Carried <br />Expense It eras unanimously agreed by the Council and the City Secretary was in- <br />Pick-up structed to charge the initial cost of the near Chevrolet pick-up truck <br />Truck to the department expenses ~~p€ollovrs ; ~1a.00.00 to the VTater Deparr~ment, <br />_~-~"85~+3~ to the Street & Alley, 100.00 to the Sewer Dept. <br />.~~'~ <br />~.::, <br />Scarifier Motion by Boyle, second by Ruff, that the City purchase a used Scarifier <br />for the grader, from Browning-Ferris Machinery Co., for the sum of ~1~.5.OOs <br />terms to be as follows: X50.00 in cash, X50.00 to be paid in six months and <br />~~5.00 to be paid in one years pgce:tci.include installation. Carried. <br />The City Attorney was instructed to draw up a contact for same. <br />' Tool Box Motion ~y Ruff, second by Boyle, that the Water Committee draw up spec- <br />Trucl~ 2 ifications and get bids on building racks and tool boxes for Truck No.2, <br />and with power to act. Carried <br />Corunission Motion by Agee, second by Ruff, that R.H. Baker be paid X0.50 each on <br />12 notifications for Package Liquor and Beer and Vdine Licenses. <br />Carried <br />over <br /> <br />
