He was referred to the City Engineer's letter of September <br />30, 1~, and that any change ®ther thaw what he had reoammoended world have <br />to came f~amt the City Bngfneer, before they would coansider it. <br />Yr. Wyche also brought up the matter of deleting 120 feet of gas take-off <br />line at X1.10 per font, and if sane was autha~rised, the city world be cred- <br />iced with X132.40. <br />Yvtion by Stewart, seoamd by Grate, to authorise the City Engineer to delete <br />124' of gas take-off line at #1.10, from Digester to Waste Gas Barnet. <br />Carried. <br />ltr. 8. Y. l~hiteside, with the Neterad Cgrporatiass, appeared before the <br />Casmissiar with his attcnaey Mr. Carl Patrick, for the prsrpose of selling <br />advertisesaents to bs attached to the parking meter standards. He suggested <br />sons, local eivio organisatim sponsor this program for a share of the pro- <br />fits. He was infaormed that the Ira Paarte Volunteer Fire Department had re- <br />quested to participate in the program. Hedrick, City <br />~giaeer, in regard to payment of George Consolidated Canstruotiaa- Company, <br />isi that they were nvt willing to pay retainage mostey tmtil the streets and <br />culverts had bseme repaired, ar at least same pra~-isiaa is made for such <br />repairs, and also to mention that the new sewer line has rat yet been tes- <br />ted. <br />The Commission instructed the City Clerk to arrange a meeting with l[r• D~moan <br />Neblett, attorney for Fred Westergrea~, I~iday morning, same being Nan. 19th, <br />1948, at 14:00 g.
