J. <br />Pfeiffer, with the following members and city officials presents Commiss- <br />ioners Jas. S. Crate, Jr. and Jas. E. Stewart, City ,Attorney Jno. S. %fibler, <br />and City Clerk J. £. Muldoon. <br />Motion by Crate, second by Stewart, authorizing the City Clerk to issue a <br />~ check to Dan Rumrill, in the amount of X16.00, for hauling shell to Fifth <br />Street and eB". <br />Carried. <br />Motion by Crate, second by Stevrart, to pay Mrs. Ruth Huddleston ~175.OQ <br />per month, effective January 1, 19I~9. <br />Carried. <br />Mayor Pfeiffer annougaed the appointment of a Charter Commission to prepare <br />a home rule oharter for the oity of La Porte, oomposed of the following <br />citizens of La Porte: <br />J. W. Arnett, James H. Baker, ~'~alt Baumbaak, Geo. H. Counts, J. R. Eckhardt, <br />G. D. Hair, J. S• Holcomb, R. W. Berber, Dr. P. J. Mock, Bryan Moore, 0. G. <br />Shaffer, A. Russell Shepherd, Joe R. Thaanas, J. J. Tryling and Ray E.
