<br />Burgin, with the following members and city officiad.s present : Commissioners
<br />,~ ~ L.R. Rigby and Ho P. Pfeiffer, Special Counsel Jno. S. Kiibler, and City
<br />Clerlt Frank G. Baker. Also present were Jim Ho11,p, Houston Post Reporter,
<br />• lt~s. ti?s A. Stabs, Chronicle Reporter, Fern Samford ar~d Cherry Black.

<br />A proposal from the Texas 'hater T'Tells, Inc., was postponed until the next
<br />regular meeting.
<br />Tt,otion by Rigby, second by Pfeiffer, that Pi Lombda Chapter of Beta Sigma
<br />Phi be granted permission to hold a turkey shoot on November 17th' under
<br />the supervision of Police Chief Russie Es Jacobs.
<br />Carried.
<br />Motion by Pfeiffer, second by Rigby that the City Clerk be authorized to
<br />purchase a locker for the Police Department.
<br />Carried.
<br />Motion by Pfeiffer, second by Rigbya that the City pay that portion billed
<br />by Harris County for Air and 1fJater Pollution.
<br />Carried.
<br />notion by Pfeiffer, secorxi by Rigby that City advertise far bids on T7ater
<br />Truck to be opened on December ?thy 1956, specifications to be as follows:
