Pfeif.~er, <br />mayor; Ode own, treet Commissioner; W. A. Stabs, Jr., <br />police and Fire Commissioner; Dennis Dunham, Health and <br />recreation Commissioner; Tom Usburn, pater and sewer Commissioner. <br />~ ~ ~ <br />MEMBERS OF COMMISSION ABSENT: None. <br />~~ x ~. <br />OTHER CITY OFFICIALS PRESENT: Charles L. Pitman, <br />City Attorney; Clovis nn, ity Clerk; H. Carlos Smith, <br />City Engineer. <br />~ # ~ <br />PRESIDING: Mayor Harold Pfeiffer. <br /># ~ # <br />1. Commissioner Osburn made a motion, seconded by APPROPRIATION OF <br />Commissioner Stabs, that an appropriation of four thousand. $ x.,000.00 FOR <br />dollars ($ 4000.00) be made available for court costs, with COURT COSTS <br />an immediate expenditure of one thousand five hundred dollars <br />($ 1,500.00) authorized from this appropriation for attorney's <br />fees and court stenographer. Motion carried. <br />2. Commissioner Osburn made a motion, seconded by ALLOCATION FOR FIL- <br />Commissioner Stabs, that an allocation of six hundred. dollars, OF DELINQUENT TAX <br />($ 600.00) be authorized for filing of tax suits for delinquent SUITS <br />taxes. Motion carried. <br />~ # ~ <br />3. The Commission considered a request from Mr. ADJUSTMENT OF <br />L. F. MacNeil, 1312 Bayshore Drive, to adjust valuation placed P4AC NEIL PROPERTY <br />on his property for tax purposes. <br />After due consideration, Commissioner Osburn made <br />a m©tion, seconded by Commissioner Stabs, that the assessment <br />on Mr. MaeNeil's property; 1 - 61/100 Acres, 193.3 Ft. by 300 <br />Ft., J. Hunter Survey, Bay Front, Sayshore Park Addition; be <br />reduced from the present assessment of $ 35.00 per foot, to <br />$ 28.00 per foot, making a land assessment change from $ 67.50 <br />to $ 54.10. Motion carried. <br />~ ~ <br />
