Commissioner Brown made a motion, seconded by <br />f' Commissioner Osburn, that City Engineer Carlos Smith be auth- <br />Z orized to install curb and gutter on "M" Street from Broadway <br />to 9st Street. A pefition, containing forty-one signatures, <br />purporting to be property owners and residents of the North <br />Side of the City~of La Porte, petitioning the City Commission <br />to refrain from issuing any permif to any person or persons <br />who might present an application for a license to operate an <br />establishment that would sell any intoxicating drinks west of <br />North Broadway.
