P. <br />Pfeiffer, Commissioners Tom Osburn, W. A. Stabs, Jr., <br />Frank G. Baker, Russeit Shepherd. <br />MEMBERS OF COMMISSION ABSENT: None. <br />OTHER CITY OFFICIALS PRESENT: City Attorney <br />C. L. Pitman; Carlos Smith, City Engineer; City Clerk, <br />Clovis D. Mann; Water Superintendent Lyman Cunningham, <br />and Chief of Police N. F. Freeman. <br />PRESIDING: Mayor N. P. Pfeiffer. <br />* ~ <br />1. Minutes of the Regular Meeting of October <br />26, 1964, were read and approved, with the following <br />amendment: <br />The second sentence of /tem No. 6, that reads, <br />"The Commission informed him that the United <br />Day Care Association had approved, ..etc," <br />to be amended to read, "Reverend Pinkney <br />informed the Commission that thA U,~ited <br />Day Care ~asociation hnd upprcveu', efc<" <br />Minutes of the Special Meeting of October <br />29, 1964, were read and approved. <br /> <br />2. Motion made by Commissioner Baker, seconded <br />by Commtssioner Stabs, that the following Accounts Payable <br />be approved for payment. Motion carried. <br />Lone Star Meter Service $ 140.80 <br />Ben Robinson Company 159.36 <br />* * ~ <br />3. City Engineer Smith presented an approximate <br />cost of work and materials necessary for the Northside <br />Community Building, to meet the requirements for a Day <br />Care Nursery. Smith was instructed by the Commission to <br />secure the services of a contractor to submit a firmer <br />figure of cost so the matter could be considered further. <br /> <br />
