Pfeiffer, Commissioners <br />Bobby J. Burgin, Charles D. Boyle, Lois J. Compton, and W. A. <br />Stabs, Jr. <br />MEMBERS OF THE CAM/SSION ABSENT: None <br />M,EM,BERS OF THE CGMMISSICN PRESENT: City Attorney Knox 'db'. Ask in s, City <br />ngineer H. Carlos Smith, City Clerk Marilyn Kelley, and Chief <br />of Police H. F. Freeman. <br />PRESIDING: Mayor Ffei;'fer. <br />+ + + <br />9. The minutes of the regular meeting of October 2, 9967, were <br />amended as follows: <br />Item No. 98 - to read - "Commissioner Stabs made a motion, <br />seconded by Commissioner Boyle, that F. B. Reynolds <br />be promoted to Identification Officer, with a X25.00 <br />a month salary increase." <br />+ + + <br />2. Mr. Hiram Angelrequested that Block 969 Town of La Forte, be <br />re-zoned to Commercial andthat the a11ey in said block be closed. <br />The City Attorney advised Mr. Angel of the steps necessary for <br />the re-zoning and alley closing. <br />+ + + <br />3. r'~~r. B. L. Fry, chairman of the Housing Board, presented the <br />Commission a letter and requested that the Commission study it, <br />and discuss it with the Housing Board at a later date. (See <br />Exhibit No. 9). <br />+ + + <br />4. Bids for the purchase of two cab and chassis and one pick-up <br />truck were rE.~ceived. (See Exhibit No. 2). <br />Commissioner Burgin made a motion, seconded by Commissioner <br />Boyle, that the bids be tabled for tabulation and study. Motion <br />carried. <br />+ + + <br />
