• MINUTES - REGULAR MEETING OF THE LA PORTE FIRE CODE REVIEW COMMITTEE APRIL 21, 1977 MEMBERS OF THE COMMITTEE PRESENT: D.R. McLaughlin, Jack Lockridge, Royal Shepard, Vic Taylor, Fred Westergren, Al Steckman, J.M. Goodman, Rusty Shepard and Bob Crager. Bob Crager was representing Joe Sease. MEMBERS OF THE COMMITTEE ABSENT: J.J. Meza, D. Dunham, Roy Groda, H. Carlos Smith and Joe Ligi. PRESIDING: Jack Lockridge, Chairman. + + + 1. CALL TO ORDER = Jack Lockridge called the meeting to order. 2. READING OF MINUTES - Secretary Paul R. Hickenbottom, read the minutes of the last make up meeting, dated April 14~, 1977• The minutes were approved as read, by the following vote: Ayes: All For Nays: None 3. OLD BUSINESS - It was recommended by the committee after the suggestion was made by D.R. McLaughlin in the April 14~, 1977 meeting, a committee of three members draw up a proposed #1 fire zone, and present it at this meeting for the committees approval. 4. NEW BUSINESS - D.R. McLaughlin explained what the #1 fire zone committee had done, and the problems it had encountered and that it did not have a proposed #1 fire zone to present to the committee for it's approval at this time. Jack Lockridge, ask for and received the approval of the committee on his recommendation, that the setting of the #1 fire zone be a continuing project, and that the committee give a report of their progress at each meeting, and that the review committee get started on the revision of the fire code.
