PRESENT <br /> <br />Ci <br />Adviso ~ Board <br />David Brady, Chairman <br />Lloyd Roper <br />Reed Tolles <br />Jim Longnecker <br />Dennis Dunham <br />Richard Hayes <br />Ruede Wheeler <br />City, of La Porte <br />John Joerns <br />Joel Albrecht <br />Alex Osmond <br />Dennis Hlavaty <br />Nina Bergeron, <br />Secretary <br />Meeting was opened by David Brady, Chairman at 12:10 PM <br />ITEM__NO___.__2; A motion was made by Richard Hayes and seconded by <br />Dennis Dunham to approve the rriinutes of the March 10, <br />1988 meeting. Minutes were approved as presented. <br />Denn9_s Dunham asked if a letter had been sent to Marion <br />Albanese in appreciation for her input in the logo for <br />the golf course. David said that it was his <br />understanding that John Joerns had called and talked <br />with her and made recognition at the Council meeting. <br />John added that she and Brian (City ernployee) would get <br />their picture i_n the paper and be taken out for lunch <br />for the job they did on the logo. <br />ITEM PdO. ~: STATUS OF GOLF COURSE: Alex informed the Board that <br />everything was looking good at the course. The items <br />that need to be completed are the drainage areas, some <br />fairways and green slopes still need some grass added, a <br />few areas in the rough that need to be seeded, fix/patch <br />cart paths damaged by construction, repair leaking weir <br />on No. 2, install main controller for water system <br />(can't be done until maintenance building is corpleted. <br />After contractor is satisfied with his work for <br />completion of the course, a final inspection will be <br />made by Jay Riviere and City staff. Dennis Dunham made <br />a request that the Board also make the final inspection, <br />as this will be the last opportunity to meet with the <br />contractor. A11 agreed and it was decided that the <br />Board would be included. <br />
