.~- <br />• (az) • <br />La Porte Planning & Zoning Commission <br />Special Meeting - August 24, 1960 <br />7:.30 P•• m• City Hall , <br />Vice Chairman Fred Ruff presided in the absence of <br />Chairman Walter Roberson. <br />The roll was called by the secretary and the following <br />members were present: Ruth Huddleston, R. A. McClendon, Bryan Moore <br />Elsie Moore, George Norris., Fred Ruff, J. C. Woerner, Lois Compton, <br />and Eugenie Miller. Also present were Mayor Harold P. Pfeiffer <br />Commissioners W. A. "Billy"~S tabs Jr.~ and Odell Brown, City Secretary <br />Frank Baker, City Attorney Charles Pitman, Jack Oliphant and Paul <br />Kistler. <br />The minutes of the August 15th meeting were read by <br />the secretary. A motion was made by Elsie Moore and seconded, by R. A. <br />® McClendon that they be approved as read. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Minutes of the August 22nd meeting were read b3' the <br />secretary and a motion was made by Lois Compton and seconded by R. A. <br />McClendo~i that they be approved as read. Motion carried unanimously:,: <br />Elsie Moore made the following motion:: That the <br />following motion passed at the meeting of August 15th-"A building may <br />be moved into a "C Plus"', "C", "D", and "E" Single Family Dwelling <br />District; provided, however, that the building meets the specification <br />of this district and providing it is equal to the highest classification <br />within 200 feet in any direction; aa~d provided, it is to be used. as <br />a Single-Family Dwelling or accessory building.- If the building is to <br />be used as an accessory building, however, it must be of the same general <br />construction as the building proper and be of conforming use," be amended <br />as follows:."A building may be moved into a "C3'lus"~ "C", "D" and "E" <br />Single Family Dwelling District; provided, however that the building <br />meets the specifications of this district and providing it is equal to <br />~~ <br />
