CALL TO ORDER - Meeting called to order at 1915 hours. <br />+ + + <br />2. CONSIDER CLOSING EASEMENT (LAYNE STREET) REQUEST OF <br />J. D. STRINGER - BETWEEN 'LOT 1, BLOCK 3, AND LOTS 1 <br />AND 2, BLOCK II, BAYSIDE TERRACE ADDITION - HARRIS <br />COUNTY, TEXAS - Mr. and Mrs. Stringer talked to the <br />Commission about why they wanted the street closed <br />between lot 1, block 3, and lots 1 and 2, block II, <br />Bayside Terrace Addition. A full explanation was given <br />as to how they would purchase the easement. Mrs. Stringer <br />stated that Knox Askins is handling the purchase of this <br />property. <br />All members of the Commission agreed the street should <br />be closed. J. C. Hebert made the motion to close: That <br />portion of Layne Avenue, located South of the South right- <br />of-way line of Bayside Drive, and located East of and <br />adjoining the East line of Lot One (1), Block Three (3), <br />• Bayside Terrace Replat, a subdivision in the W. P. Harris <br />Survey, Abstract No. 30, according to the map or plat <br />thereof recorded in Volume 86, Page 18, of the Map Records <br />of Harris County, Texas, being a tract of land 40' x 100', <br />more or less. <br /> <br /> <br />
