f ~ <br />• <br />i <br />PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION <br />October '4, 1978 <br />All Members Present. <br />Chairman, Pat Muston, Presiding. <br />Meeting Called to Order: 6:45 p.m. <br />Discussion on the appointment of a member of the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission to the La Porte, Deer <br />Park, Lomax Joint Airport Zoning Board. <br />Mr. Hudgens, City Administrator, explained the position <br />to the members. A motion was made to recommend LJalt <br />Springal3. to the position. The motion was seconded and <br />passed. <br />Meeting eras adjourned to have a joint meeting between <br />• ~ the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City <br />Commission. <br />Per request of City Commission, Planning and Zoning <br />reconvened to discuss the rezoning of Block 30, Sylvan <br />Beach, from residential to commercial. A motion was <br />made to a:ezone to commercial, seconded and passed. <br />Meeting adjourned to reconvene with City Commission, <br />made our recommendation for rezoning of Block 30 to <br />commercial. <br />Commission voted to rezone Lots 1, 2, & 3, Block 30, <br />to commercial. <br /> <br />
