CALL TO ORDER. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by Chairperson Muston at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />2. APPROVE MINUTES OF JANUARY 19, 2006, REGULAR MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING <br />AND THE FEBRUARY 2, 2006 SPECIAL CALLED MEETING. <br /> <br />Motion by Nick Barrera to approve the minutes of the January 19, 2006 regular meeting. Second <br />by Paul Berner. OPEN PUBLIC HEARING TO RECEIVE CITIZEN INPUT ON SPECIAL CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT REQUEST #SCU06-001 FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2910 &2912 SOUTH <br />BROADWAY, ADJACENT TO CITY OF LA PORTE FIRE STATION NO.4, FURTHER <br />DESCRIBED AS TR 5B AND TR 5J, W.P. HARRIS SURVEY, ABSTRACT 30, LA PORTE, <br />HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS, AS REQUESTED BY THE APPLICANT FOR PROPOSED <br />DEVELOPMENT OF DOCTOR'S OFFICE! CLINIC IN THE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT <br />(PUD) ZONE. <br /> <br />Chairperson Muston opened the public hearing at 6:03 pm. <br /> <br />A. STAFF PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Masood Malik gave the Staff Report. The applicant is seeking to develop a one-story, 5,000 <br />sq. ft. building. The development will contain an office, day time clinic, and surgical facility <br />on-site. The development is in accordance with the Planned Unit Development (PUD) zoning <br />of the site. Staff feels that this development is in keeping with the intended use of the area, <br />and will blend well with the surrounding uses. <br />
