Planning and Zoning Commission <br /> Minutes of September 21,2017 <br /> Commissioners Present: Richard Warren, Trey Kendrick, Wyatt Smith, Nick Barrera, Mark Follis, <br /> Christina Tschappat and Chairman Hal Lawler <br /> Commissioners Absent: Lou Ann Martin and Helen LaCour <br /> City Staff Present: Assistant City Attorney Clark Askins, Planning and Development Director <br /> Richard Mancilla, City Planner Ian Clowes, and Planning Technician Ryan <br /> Cramer <br /> 1. Call to Order. <br /> Chairman Hal Lawler called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. <br /> 2. Roll call of members. <br /> Commissioners Lou Ann Martin and Helen LaCour were not present for roll call. <br /> 3. Consider approval of the meeting minutes:August 17,2017 Meeting <br /> Motion by Commissioner Kendrick to approve <br /> Second by Commissioner Smith. Motion carried. <br /> Ayes: Commissioners Smith, Kendrick, Warren, Barrera, Follis,Tschappat, and Chairman Lawler <br /> Nays: <br /> 4. Consider a request by Kevin Polasek of Terra Associates, Inc.;for approval of a major <br /> development site plan (#17-83000002) for a proposed spec warehouse distribution facility on <br /> a 34.69 acre parcel located at 1302 Wharton Weems Blvd. <br /> Chairman Lawler introduced the request. <br /> a. Staff Presentation <br /> City Planner Clowes gave staff's presentation. <br /> Commissioner Follis had some questions regarding addressing,fire hydrant spacing, and <br /> adjacent property owners. City Planner Clowes stated that he would make sure these items <br /> are addressed. <br /> 5. Consider approval of Major Development Site Plan#17-83000002. <br /> Motion by Commissioner Kendrick to approve. <br /> Second by Commissioner Barrera. Motion carried. <br />
