CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by Chairperson Turner at 7:10 p.m. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Roll called by Chairperson Turner. <br /> <br />3. CONSIDER APPROVAL OF DECEMBER 2,2004, MINUTES. <br /> <br />Minutes of December 2,2004, were approved as presented. <br /> <br />4. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING A FORMAL RECOMMENDATION ON THE <br />CREATION OF REGULATIONS FOR A PROPOSED LARGE LOT DISTRICT. <br /> <br />The Committee discussed proposed regulations for the District. The Committee reached a consensus on <br />the following items: <br /> <br />. Minimum lot size of one acre; other proposals were 7000-7500 sq. ft.; % acre <br />. Minimum lot width 90 LF (from 100 LF) <br />. Minimum yard setbacks of 25-15-5 (F-R-S) <br />. Maximum height of 45 feet <br />. Minimum site area/unit of one (1) DU/A <br />. Maximum lot coverage of 40% <br />. Accessory buildings: Maximum of 5000 sq. ft. with no height limits other than 45 feet. <br />. Accessory buildings: 5 ft. - 15 ft. setbacks from property lines (staff reports back to Committee) <br />. Accessory buildings: No limits on number (up to 40% coverage) <br />. Barns on side and rear yards only. <br />. Eliminate controls on type of vehicle/equipment to be parked on land. <br />. Reinstate Section 106-742 governing control of animals. <br />. Eliminate maximum width on carports and where positioned. <br />. Reinstate Section 106-773 exterior storage in current ordinance. <br />. Allow street openings with asphalt and open ditch. <br />· No shipping containers allowed. <br /> <br />5. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING A FORMAL PRESENTATION TO THE PLANNING <br />AND ZONING COMMISSION ON THE CREATION AND REGULATIONS FOR A PROPOSED LARGE LOT <br />DISTRICT. <br /> <br />The Committee would like to present their final draft to the Planning and Zoning Commission at their April <br />21, 2005, meeting. <br /> <br />6. ADJOURN <br /> <br />Chairperson Turner adjourned the meeting. <br />
