CONSIDERATION OF PREVIOUS BUSINESS. <br /> N/A <br /> IV. DISCUSS FORTHCOMING SEASON SCHEDULES FOR LITTLE LEAGUE AND GIRLS <br /> SOFTBALL. <br /> Sylvia - Girls Softball - March 19 beginning tournament. March 31 - <br /> opening day. 160 signed up. Girls Softball and Soccer to schedule <br /> with Lori for use of Lomax Bldg. for meetings. <br /> Debbie - Girls Softball is unified - no problem. <br /> Karen - Boys Baseball approximately 800 boys excluding colt league. <br /> Need more playing space and practice space. Consider assigning <br /> practice fields rather than first come first serve. Season begins <br /> March 31 to June 2. May be extended. Thanks to the City for the <br /> shape of the fields and the concession stand. John Williamson and <br /> John McKinsey spokesmen for actual needs of Boys Baseball - Pinto and <br /> Mustang leagues in need of extra space. Soccer offered use of field <br /> in Lomax for Boys Baseball consider moving all of soccer to Lomax and <br /> Boys Baseball to use all area in Fairmont Possible use of Little <br /> Cedar Bayou - other possible fields - Northside (lighted fields), <br /> Shoreacres. <br /> Soccer - registration this Saturday - season February 17 - March 10. <br /> Spring season begins March thru May for older children. Expect 20 <br /> teams in first league. Second league possible 15 teams. Tournament <br /> in March at Deer Park. Camp in July. <br /> Rex Carr Appreciates lights and water at arena. LP Livestock assn. <br /> goal is a permanent home for FFA students to work their animals and <br /> have the auction. Discussion on covering the riding pen for use by <br /> all organizations and how to achieve that LP Livestock Assn. to begin <br /> a building fund with the City. <br /> V. CONSIDERATION OF NEW BUSINESS. <br /> Sylvia - Girls Softball would like scorekeepers booths renovated, some <br /> trees planted, doors on old Lomax City Hall Building. <br /> VI.
