Notice is hereby given of a meeting of the City of La Porte Development Corporation to be held on
November 11, 2019, at the City Hall Council Chambers, 604 West Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, Texas,
beginning at 4:30 pm to consider the following items of business:
1.CALL TO ORDER
2.PUBLIC COMMENTS (Generally limited to five minutes per person; in accordance with state law,
the time may be reduced if there is a high number of speakers or other considerations.)
3.AUTHORIZATIONS
(a)Approve minutes of the meeting held on September 23, 2019. [Richard W arren, President]
(b)P resentation, discussion, and possible ac tion to approve posting and beginning a 60-day
comment period for proposed C IP projects for Fiscal Year 2019-2020 utilizing La P orte
D evelopment C orporation B oard funds . [R yan C ramer, E c onomic D evelopment
Coordinator]
(c)P resentation, discussion, and possible action on proposed mini-mural renderings and
strategy for painting of traffic c ontrol boxes on Main S treet. [R yan C ramer, E conomic
Development Coordinator]
4.SET DATE FOR NEXT MEETING
5.H ear announcem ents concerning m atters appearing on the agenda; item s of community
interest; and/or inquiries of staff regarding specific factual inform ation or existing policy
from the C om m ittee m em bers and C ity staff, for which no formal action will be discussed or
taken.
6.ADJOURNMENT
If, during the course of the meeting and discussion of any items covered by this notice, the La P orte
D evelopment C orporation B oard determ ines that a C los ed or E xec utive S ession of the B oard is required, then
such c los ed meeting will be held as authorized by Texas Government C ode, C hapter 551, S ection 551.071 -
consultation with counsel on legal matters; S ection 551.072 - deliberation regarding purchase, exchange,
lease or value of real property; S ec tion 551.073 - deliberation regarding a prospective gift; S ec tion 551.074 -
personnel matters regarding the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or
dismissal of a public officer or em ployee; S ection 551.076 - implementation of security personnel or devices;
S ection 551.087 - deliberation regarding economic developm ent negotiation; S ec tion 551.089 - deliberation
regarding security devices or security audits, and/or other matters as authorized under the Texas Government
C ode. If a C losed or E xecutive S ession is held in ac c ordanc e with the Texas Government C ode as set out
above, the La P orte D evelopment C orporation B oard will reconvene in O pen S ession in order to take ac tion, if
necessary, on the items addressed during Executive Session.

requested to contact the City Secretary's office (281-470-5019), two working days prior to the meeting for
appropriate arrangements.
