CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA
Notice is hereby given of a Special Meetingof the La Porte City Council to be held May 7, 2012,
beginning at 5:00 p.m.in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 604 West Fairmont Parkway, LaPorte,
Texas, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. All agenda items are subject to
action. The City Council reserves the right to meet in a closed session on any agenda item should
the need arise and if applicable pursuant to authorization by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas
Government Code.
1.CALL TO ORDER
2.EXECUTIVE SESSION
The City Council reserves the right to meet in closed session on any agenda item should the need
arise and if applicable pursuant to authorization by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government
Code, including, but not limited to, the following:
Texas Government Code, Section 551.074
–For the purpose of deliberating the appointment,
employment, evaluation, reassignment and/or duties of a public officer or employee: Interviewof
candidate for city manager.
3.RECONVENE
into regular session and consider action, if any, on item discussedin executive
session.
4.COUNCIL COMMENTS
regarding matters appearing on the agenda; recognition of community
members, city employees, and upcoming events; inquiry of staff regarding specific factual
information or existing policies–Councilmembers Moser, Kaminski, Zemanek, Leonard,
Engelken, Mosteit, Clausen, Martinand Mayor Rigby
5.ADJOURN
In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the City of La Porte will provide for reasonable
