Notice is hereby given of a regular meeting to be held on November 22, 2010 at 11 :00 a.m. at the
La Porte Police Department in the Training Room, 3001 N. 23rd, La Porte, Texas regarding the
items according to the agenda listed below:
1. Call to Order
2. Consider approval of minutes from November 2, 2009 meeting.
3. Administer Oath of Office
4. Consider appeal of the application of seniority points for officers who do not score a
passing grade on the promotional examination administered on November 4, 2010. in
accordance with Section 10.24 of the City of La Porte Civil Service Rules and
Regulations (Review and Appeal of Promotional Examination).
5. Administrative Reports
. Promotional Exam
6. Board Comments
a. Matters appearing on the agenda
b. Inquiry of staff regarding specific factual information or existing policy.
7. Adjournment
There may be a possible quorum of City Council present at this meeting and may
participate in discussion at this meeting, however, they will not vote on matters.
