Services District
Notice is hereby given of a Meeting and Public Hearing of the Board of the La Porte Fire Control,
Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services District to be held Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 6:00
p.m., at the Fire Administration Building, 125 South 3rd St, La Porte, Texas, for the purpose of
considering the following agenda items. All agenda items are subject to action. The Board of
the La Porte Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services District reserves the right
to meet in a closed session on any agenda item should the need arise and if applicable pursuant
to authorization by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government Code.
1. Call to Order
2. Approve minutes of La Porte Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services Board of
Directors Public Hearing, held on May 10, 2016.
3. Open Public Hearing to consider a budget for the fiscal year which begins October 1, 2016.
a. Staff presentation;
b. Comments by members of the public;
c. Questions by Board members; and
d. Close Public Hearing
4. Consider approval or other actions on the proposed budget for the fiscal year which begins
October 1, 2016.
5. Adjournment
In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the City of La Porte will provide for reasonable
