Firefighters' Pension Board
Notice is hereby given of a meeting of the La Porte Firefighters' Pension Board to be held on
Monday, August 12, 2019, at 6:00 p.m., at the Fire Administration Building, 125 South 3rd Street, La
Porte, Texas, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. All agenda items are
subject to action.
Call to order
1. Approve minutes of the meeting held on February 13, 2019.
2. Review of the Department's pension roster
a. Accept certification(s) of physical fitness from new members: N/A
b. Assign new members to support duties in the absence of a certification of physical
fitness: N/A
c. Terminate inactive members: John Hightower
3. Certify pension roster (membership reconciliation report received on August 5, 2019).
4. Review pension contribution charges.
Adjourn
The Board of the La Porte Firefighters'Pension Board reserves the right to meet in a closed session on any agenda item
should the need arise and if applicable pursuant to authorization by Title 5,Chapter 551,of the Texas Government Code.
Persons with disabilities who plan to attend this meeting and who may need auxiliary aids or services are requested to
contact the La Porte Firefighters' Pension Board Secretary (281-471-3607) two business days prior to the meeting for
appropriate arrangements.
