Firefighters' Pension Board
Notice is hereby given of a meeting of the La Porte Firefighters' Pension Board to be held on
Thursday, August 20, 2020, at 6:00 p.m., at the Fire Administration Building, 125 South 3rd Street,
La Porte, Texas, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. All agenda items are
subject to action.
Call to order
1. Public comment
2. Approve minutes of the meeting held on February 11, 2020.
3. Review of the Department's pension roster
a. Accept certification(s) of physical fitness from new members: N/A
b. Assign new members to support duties in the absence of a certification of physical
fitness: N/A
c. Terminate inactive members: N/A
4. Certify pension roster (membership reconciliation report received on August 3, 2020).
5. Review pension contribution charges.
6. Discuss and consider benefit claims.

The Board of the La Porte Firefighters' Pension Board reserves the right to meet in a closed session on any agenda item
should the need arise and if applicable pursuant to authorization by Title 5,Chapter 551,of the Texas Government Code.
