Notice is hereby given of a City of La Porte Meet and Confer Committee Meeting to be held May 2, 2013 in the
Council Chambers of City Hall, 604 West Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, Texas beginning at 3:00 p.m. regarding
the items of business according to the agenda listed below
Call to Order
Review and approval of minutes from April 25, 2013 meeting.
3. Open discussion relating to items introduced by the Police Association and/or the City of La Porte,
regarding compensation, leave provisions, working conditions, alternative promotional testing
procedures, and civil service preemptions.
Set date and time for next Meet and Confer Committee Meeting
5. Committee Comments
a. Matters appearing on the agenda
b. Inquiry of staff regarding specific factual information or existing policy
6. Adjournment
There may be a quorum of City Councilmembers present at this meeting and may participate in discussion at
this meeting; however, they will not vote on matters. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the
City of La Porte will provide for reasonable accommodations for persons attending public meetings. To better
