Notice is hereby given of a meeting of the Drainage and Flooding Committee of the City Council of
the City of La Porte, to be held February 18, 2008 in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 604 West
Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, Texas, beginning at 5:30 p.m. regarding the items of business
according to the agenda listed below.
1. Call to order
2. Consider approval of Minutes of the Drainage and Flooding Committee Meeting held on
February 11, 2008
3. Petitions, Remonstrances, Communications, and Citizens and Taxpayers wishing to
address the Drainage and Flooding Committee
4. Discuss hotel development and associated drainage issues at intersection of Fairmont
Parkway and Driftwood and consider making possible recommendations to La Porte City
Council
5. Administrative Reports - Staff
Receive reports from City Staff, Harris County Flood Control District and Harris County
Precinct Two
March 10,2008 at 5:00 p.m. Drainage and Flooding Committee Meeting
6. Set date for next meeting
7. Committee Comments
8. Adjournment
