Notice is hereby given of a meeting of the Drainage and Flooding Committee of the City Council of the City of La
Porte, to be held March 7, 2011, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 604 West Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, Texas,
beginning at 6:00 p.m. regarding the items of business according to the agenda listed below.
1. Call to order
2. Consider approval of Minutes of the Drainage and Flooding Committee Meeting held on February 28,
2011— P. Fogarty
3. Receive Presentation of Proposed Partnership Project List to be submitted to Harris County Flood
Control District and discuss process for selection of consultant for these projects — J. Garza
4. Set date for next Drainage and Flooding Committee Meeting
5. Committee Comments
A. Matters appearing on agenda
B. Inquiry of staff regarding specific factual information or existing policy
6. Executive Session — pursuant to provision of the Open Meetings Law, Chapter 551, Texas Govemment
Code, Sections 551.071 through 551.076, 551.087 (consultation with attorney, deliberation regarding real
property, deliberation regarding prospective gift or donation personnel matters, deliberation regarding
security devices, or excluding a witness during examination of another witness in an investigation,
deliberation regarding economic development negotiations)
7. Considerations and possible action on items considered in executive session
8. Adjoumment
