A Discuss Federal Grant Program that places a police officer in rent-free home repossessed
by lillD.
B. Discuss police coverage in City's Northside and potential for a Police substation
in that part of the community.
C. Review police personnel staffmg levels.
II. Receive update on Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ #1).
III. Discuss status of La Porte Northside Neighborhood Plan.

A. Omit street name duplications throughout the City.
B. Naming of public buildings, parks, or streets after an individual. (Council Round Table)
C. Consider name for new library. (Council Round Table)
D. Discuss purchase and issuance of pagers and home PC connections to City
information networks for better communications. (Council Round Table)
E. What can we do to keep valuable City employees from going elsewhere?
F. Consider the feasibility of hiring a grant writer or contracting out this service.

networks for better communications. Did we change our minds about this? I thought
it was a good idea. Is there enough interests to bring this discussion back?
12. What became of the increase in the Mayor's car allowance and the council's
allowance proposal?

15. What is the status of the La Porte/Main Street Comprehensive Plan?
