ADDENDUM TO MEETING NOTICE
The following items will be added to the agenda for the November 9, 2009 City Council Meeting to be held in the
Council Chambers at City Hall, 604 West Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, Texas. The items below will be discussed
on November 9, 2009 at 6:00 p.m.
5 (D) Item 5D is amended to read as follows:
Consider approval or other action regarding a resolution declaring intention to reimburse certain
expenditures for future projects including drainage, community convention center, public works
improvements and parks improvements - M. Dolby
16. Executive Session - pursuant to provision of the Open Meetings Law, Chapter 551, Texas
Government Code, Sections 551.071 through 551.076, 551.087 (consultation with attorney,
deliberation regarding real property, deliberation regarding prospective gift or donation
personnel matters, deliberation regarding security devices, or excluding a witness during
examination of another witness in an investigation, deliberation regarding economic
development negotiations)

In the City Hall of the City of La Porte, 5:00 p.m. on the 6th day of November 2009, and that (1) said
Notice was posted for at least 72 hours preceding the scheduled time of the meeting; or (2) if this Notice
was posted less than 72 hours but more than 2 hours before the meetina convened, I hereby certify that
said meetina was called because of an emerqency or urqent public necessity limited to imminent threats
to public health and safety or reasonable unforeseeable situations reauirinq immediate action by the City
Council.
