I. CAT'}, TO ORDER
A "Notice of Delay" in the start of the meeting was posted at the door of the Inspection
Services Division. Delay was needed for a quorum.
Meeting called to order at 640 Pl\l by Chairman Tom Campbell.

CONSIDER APPROVING MINUTES FROM THE AUGUST 18.2005 MEETING
Motion to approve the August 18,2005 minutes, as submitted, was made by Terry
Bunch. Second by Ken Schlather l'vlotion passed unanimously.

REVIEW AND mSCliSS THE RESIDENTIAL BUILDING COllE
Chairman Campbell asked the Board if they had an oppor1unity to revie\v the residential
building code and if there 'were any specific areas they felt needed to be discussed Mr.
Schlather noted he had not been able to make much headway and suggested the members
might want to consider identifying specific chapters to review rather than trying to read
and absorb the vvhole code book.
After some discussion between members. :VIr. Bunch made a motion that the members
review Chapter 1-4 and discuss at the next meeting. Ron Holt made a second and the
motion passed unamiously.

Mr. Holt made a motion for the next meeting date of October 13,2005 at 6 p.m Second
was by 1\11'. Schlather. Motion passed unanimously
Staffwas asked that the agenda include the review and discussion of Chapters 1-4 of the
Residential Building Code.

" AD1\IINISTRATIVE REPORTS
i\lrs \Vilmore advised the Board that the ordinance amending the local electrical
amendments were approved (as submitted) by Council under Ordinance #96-2079H
Also. the Board \Vas advised that Councilman Mosteit had some concern o\'er the use of
uutdated tenninologv in the ordinance and ,,,ill be providing suggested language for the
Huard to consider ,'\ny change(s) would be done bv a separate ordinance

The Chairman asked f()r anv board comments. There were none.

A motion to adjourn b\' 1\'Ir Bunch was seconded bv Mr Schlather. !\lotion passed
unanimousl\' !\/leeting adjourned at 740 p m
