Meeting was called to order by Mayor A N Mc Kay,
ROLL CALL
All members of the council present.
MINUTES
Minutes of the last meeting were read and Approved.

Tack Rafferty was present and explained that change in the
lane for the city hall would incr4ase the cost from
10,1000 to $12 ,200'Sti.
Mr adame s representing the "Globe Bowage Legasifying Co.
was present and asked the council to pass a resolution
reserving the right of the council to eliminate the Imhoff
Tank from the sewer aorltrant if in the opinion of the
councils after investigations a diferent kinC of dispoaal
plant is advantageouss and allow his company to submit
designs and prices.
NW BUSINESS
Alderman Sandel offered a motion seconded by Alderman Ruff
tbAt the council reserve the right to consider bids on othw
tanks than the Imhoff tank.
Carried.
Alderman Sharp offered a motion seconded by Alderman Sandel
Mr. Rafferty be instructed to advertise for bids for the
sewer system. Bids to be opened Tuesday night August the 5ti
Carried.
Alderman Ruff offered a motion seconded by Alderman Sandel
that the bids asked for include the water extension.
Carried.
Alderman Wall offered a motion seconded by Alderman Tolle
that Mr. Rafferty be instructed to change the original
specifications to read." Twenty five yards extra concrbtes
Fifty yards of shell and fifty yards road gravel instead -
of quantities shown on bidding sheet.

Alderman Wall offered a motion seconded by alderman Sandel
that the proposition of Mr. Rowlett to purchace certain
dots belonging L. to the city by virtue ,of tax suits sbsvt%r
- over to the finance committee for
their disposition and power be granted t)ae Mayor and Boor*
rotary to make deedof the ,lots to Mr., Rowlett.

Tolle that the Sec'y. be instructed to warn the people
through the local newspapers against starting grass
fires without first obtaining the permission of the
fire marshal.
