The meeting was called to order by Mavor A N McKay who announced the
purpose of the meeting to be general.
All members of the city council were present.
A motion by Alderman Sandal seconded by Ald-
erman Riff that the sale of the $70 j000r;00 sewer and $15 ,000 ,00
water bonds be ratified was carried unanimously. Four enpiea of the
order was presented to the council and signed by the Mayor,City Sao.
rotary and R11 , of V? n A1darmaen. A copy of the order was retained by
the secretary and spread upon the minutes.

It Was moved by Alderman Sandal and seconded by
Alderman Ruff that the foregoing order be passed, and Upon the quest:b

A motion was made by Alderman Sandal seconded by ✓
Alderman Sharpi, that the city employ Mr Ebersole as in-
spector on the sewer and water instalation work to look after
the cities interests at a salary of $6 ,00 per day
Carried.
Mr. S oiner representing the American LaFranee Co.,
presented a contract to the council for their consideration,
for the purchace of the fire aparatus previously bought under
terms not satisfactory to his comps y, Under the new contract
the fire engine.is to be delivered with every thing called for
in the original cnntract,with several added features not then
in use. '
Total cost of fire engine and appurtenances $5,500900.
First warrant for $l a750 ,00 , due one year from acceptance of
equipment, without interest.
Se+,ond warrant 19000 ,00 , on. or before two j;ears from date 6°nt.
Third warrant 1#000400 on or before three years from date 6
Fourth warrant IaI000100 on or before four years from date 6 ir_t.

Alderman Sandal made a motion seconded by Alderman
Ruff to accept the contract as submitted i?* the American La France
Co. Carried unanimously.
Alderman Wall made a motion seconded by Alderman Ruff
that the Mayor and City Secretary be authorized to execute the
contraot with tre American La France Co., terms of said contract
to be the same as recited in the minutes under tie heading
Terms of New Contract.
Carried unanimously.
