~~ Meeting was called to order b y the mayor, A N Mc Kay.
Fred Ruff, H T Wall and Le Roy Tolle answered to the roll call.
Geo H Sharp and Dr. L Sandal were abscent.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved except that
the last clause in the motion accepting the final estimate on the
water contract was eliminated.
BILLS The following bills were ordered paid.

CORRESPONDENCE.
`~~ The secretary read a letter from the Sou. Pac. R R Co. in reference
~~, to drainage conditions on the north side of their tracks where
~,,% San Jacinto st. intersects. The street and alley committee was asked
to investigate conditions as outlined by the railroad Cb. and report,

The secretary was instructed to write to the Gulf Cities Natl.
Gas eo. and ask that they lower their as line where it crosses
10th. axed 11th. streetd 3ust north of ~ Main st.to below the
level of the ditch being dug by the County.
The secretary was instructed to writeto Tex. Dreyfus and ask him
to furnish us with an estimate of the cost of cleaning out the
gully from Sou. A st at 11th. in a sou. Easterly direction so
it would afford the necessary drainage fot~ the section being
ditched by the county.
The s®aretary was instructed to write to the State Fire Ina.
Board advising them that we had adopted the ordinance creating
a Fire Board.
Adjournment was taken.
