Meeting was called to order by Mayor A N Mc Kay.
ROLL CALL
All members of the epuncil were present except

Minute of the previous meeting were read and approved.
BILLS
The following bills were presented and prd~red paid.

Committee on cutting shoulders off of certain streets
reported that shoulders on the following street
blocks should be cut off. First, A to B. Second,A to B.
Third B to D. Sou A Third to Fourth. Sou B, Bd~way

Alderrns.n Wall offered a motion seconded by Alderman
Ruff that S®aretary be instructed to confer with
City Atty. in r®ference the legal status of of a
drainage outlet for Block 1? B P Add. through the
property of J A Tenant; Also estab:l.ishing the center
of Donaldson ave. from Park ave. to the Bay. in
ref®rence to getting H S Filson to remove his Pence.
Carried.
Alderman Ruff offered a motion seconded by Alderman
wall that the cost of a used punch clock now in
Workman and Arthurs possession b® in~restigated.
Carried .
Alderman Tolle offered a motion seconded by Ald®rman
Wall that secretary be instructed to get cost of
a 2" water meter for use at Sylvan Beach Park and
that water committee ~d be given power to act.
Carried .
City Jeer®tary reported to the council that it
would cost approximately X25 00 to finish the ditch
slog the east side of tenth st. from Main to B.
Alderman Sandal offered a motion seconded b y Alderman
wall that the secretary be instructed to ask the
La Porte netief committee to have the ditch finished
and that the city would contribute X25 00 toward the
work. Carried.

Alderman Y"uall offered a motion seconded ~y Alderman
Ruff that the City Secretary be instructed to confer
with Tex Dreyfus in reference to furnishing us with
specifications for the hard surfacing first, second
and third streets from Ms.in to B and that bids be
called for for this work.
Carried.
No further business to come before the council, ad-

MARCH 26/32.
MiEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER BY MAYOR A N MC KAY.
ALL MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL WERE PRESENT EXCEPT
ALDERMAN RUFF.
THE MAYOR ANNOUNCED THAT THE PURPOSE OF THE MEETINt~
WAS TO DISCUSS PLANS FOR DRAINAGE IN THE TERRITORY
BETWEEN THE RAIL ROAD AND SYLVAN BEACH PARK IN ORDER
_~~ THAT C R BRAGS BE PERMITTED TO FILL THE PRESENT
DITCH ALONG THE EAST SIDE OF PARK VIEW DRIVE FROM THE
PARK ENTRANCE TO THE NORTH LINE ~F THE PARK PROPERTY.
ALDERMAN WALL OFFERED A MOTION SECONDED BY ALDERMAN
TOLLS THAT PERMISSION BE GIVEN C R BRACE TRUSTEE TO
FILL SAID DITCH PROVIDED HE WOULD GIVE THE CITY~IN
WRITING, AN EASEMENT FOR DRAINAGE THROUGH THEIR
PROPERTY ALONG THE NORTH LINE ~~~~~~~~~~@
WHERE SAID PARK PROPERTY JOINS THE PROPERTY' OF THE
SAINT MARYt S UNIVERSITY,FROM PARKVIEW DRIVE TO THE
BAY, SAID EASEMENT PRIVILEGE TO BE USED AT ANY TINE
THE CITY DEEMS IT NECESSARY.
PROVIDED ALSO, THAT C R BRACE TRUSTEE COOPERATE
WITH THE CITY IN AN EFFORT TO GET TAE COUNTY' TO
PUT A CULVERT UNDER SAN JACINTO STREET NORTH OF
THE RAILROAD TRACK.
Garried.
CITY SECS Y. REPORTED THAT HE HAD A PRICE OF ~8 00
FOR THE FINISHING OF THE DITCH ON THE EAST SIDE OF
TENTH ST. AND THE COUNCIL INSTRUCTED HI2vi TO HAVE
TAE WORK , 3~ONE.
